Why I "like" Motor Trend

Grease monkey, petrol head, car enthusiast...yeah, I'm all of the above.  I know every new car's spec sheet just like an obsessed sports fan knows the career stat sheet of Lebron James or Kobe Bryant.  Needless to say, I've been a longtime fan of Motor Trend Magazine.  But...for a guy who reads auto blogs on a daily basis and downloads the latest episodes of Top Gear, why would I need to "like" a car magazine on Facebook?  The answer's quite simple: time management.

As a full-time student with a full-time and part-time job, my time is in short supply.  Motor Trend's Facebook page keeps me up-to-date on the latest news and reviews in the automotive industry.  To top it off, they recently revamped their YouTube channel and send updates via Facebook on their latest videos.

Motor Trend also likes to engage their audience with surveys, questionnaires and feedback posts.  That way they provide us with the auto news and information we want to see.  To top it off, they're real receptive to comments you post onto their page and it's pretty cool when my favorite editors (Angus Mackenzie & Chris Lagos) respond to something I wrote.
