WTIA's YouTube Presence

As I've mentioned before, WTIA has a poorly curated YouTube channel. As a B2B company, they are damaging the probability of a technology company being interested in their services when they cannot execute a basic media channel like YouTube professionally, uniformly, or straightforwardly.

As I have said before, there is simply too much content, and the content itself is not well organized, described, or even chosen. The videos WTIA uploads should be of much higher quality, more succinct, and more easily navigated on their YouTube channel. They should add descriptions to every video and the playlists they've created.

Here is an example of a recently uploaded video. It has poor audio quality, composition, cinematography, and no branding. It has only received 14 views and zero feedback.

That's not to say that WTIA has completely failed. There are some videos where brand recognition and better film quality are achieved. Below is an example, but even with these strengths, the video still lacks views and feedback. WTIA needs to include the type of introduction featured here in more of their content, so it is more cohesive.

My recommendation is that WTIA begin by deleting any old, outdated videos first. They are no longer relevant, especially in the technology industry in which WTIA is supposed to be an expert. They should then assess their videos and decide which ones are most important to their customers. I suspect that many of them have the potential to be relevant and interesting, but they are simply too long and poorly executed. WTIA should create more professional films: titles with event logos, their personal logo, and chyrons to introduce speakers are all great additions to begin with. Many of their videos are too long, as well. WTIA should condense the most important information to highlight it and cater to shorter attention spans.

WTIA has a large amount of content to work with, which is a great start. The company needs to revise its presence and presentation considerably to have successful video content.
