I love Apple: the revolutionary approach

When we think about cell phone, we think about iPhone. There are only two types of smart phone exist in the market, iPhone and non-iPhone. Apple's future is not mac, it is iPhone and iPad. Apple's products truly changed people's life.

When Apple was developing its product, Apple do not do a lot of marketing research. Whether or not is it true that they never do any marketing research, it sets out a new standard to this industry. We all think that the focus should be on the customers. However, Steve Jobs did another approach: instead of chasing customers, let them chasing you. Customer does not know what they really want until a revolutionary thing came out. If you truly have confident in your product, you work so hard on your product, and you extremely like them, other people will like them as well.

Recently the news is all about Apple's sweat shop in China. It turn out that Foxconn's factory condition is one of the best in China. Workers are treated well in there. The only shortage is the job is kind of boring. If you say Apple has sweatshop in China, then you know nothing about sweatshop. Americans want Apple's job come back to the US. However, Foxconn is too big to be replaced. In fact, Foxconn has over 10,000 workers in China, but only get 0.2% of iPhone revenue. If all the production line came back to America, each iPhone will cost 3000 dollars. There will not be Steve Jobs' legend in the world. A leader's long term vision is very important to a company.
