“Where taste has been the difference since 1954”

Dick’s Drive in has accomplished a great deal and has benefited the Seattle Community by not only providing delicious food, but also by serving and reaching out to the community.

Dick’s Drive-in emphasizes this in their company- they don’t have high prices (about $2.70 for the most expensive, deluxe burger) nor do they have the most elegant burgers you can find in America. Instead, what they do have is a close connection with their community. What’s a greater deal is that it’s not just the company saying things to make be seen in a better light, it’s mostly the fans.

Recently, in March of 2012, they were voted by fans in a poll in Esquire Magazine to be the “most life-changing burger joint” over bigger chains such as In-N-Out Burger and Five Guys Burgers and Fries. Their main means of social media, Facebook and Twitter, has a great deal to do with this; and through it the news of how Dick’s Drive-In has influenced others spread all over the news.

With its great popularity, it has also become a means through which the community advertises local events and businesses. Their simple but effective Twitter, has over 3500 followers and 1300 tweets. This and their 193,000 Facebook fans are featured on the front page of their website.
