For my business plan project, I was
selected to analyze Quadrant Homes company structure, especially on its
marketing. Instead of digging into their internal websites, such as Official
Website and Facebook, I picked Seattle Times (Outside source). I found several
news discussing on Quadrant Homes’s reputations in the market. The majority of
people claim that they choose them for building their home because they have
been given the opportunity/right to choose what they want and like – making
customers’ dream into reality. Also, the fact that they use social media (e.g.
Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube) effectively is another reason why they have
such notable reputation. As I mentioned
and talked in my previous blog, they keep their customers to be informed with
their company’s activities which can be shown through their Facebook status and
tweets. They listed their company’s value, location, contact number, and etc. Besides,
they also posted some new pictures and photos of their works and achievements.
Having a short video in YouTube
page is one of their attracting strategies. In their videos, they talked why
people chose Quadrant Homes, the quality of Quadrant Homes, and also Quadrant
Homes shows a video tour of one of their design.

Personally, I like what Quadrant
Homes have done so far. Most of the companies are only thinking on how to get a
huge profit without paying attention on their surrounding, such as nature.
Nevertheless, Quadrant Homes has built a sustainability community for their
employees and customers. They are one of those who do care about their own
planet. Besides that, Quadrant Homes also posted and shared their photos from
the charity, which they did before.
In overall, I like what Quadrant
Homes has done for its marketing strategy. The only thing that I would suggest
for their social media strategy is that they should have a “testimonial” page –
telling about what their customers feel and think about their work. By doing
this, I believe Quadrant Homes will definitely become more famous and success
as they become more reliable.
