RealNetworks is also active on Facebook. They have 3,200 "likes," but their profile is not visually appealing. Their profile picture has horrible pixels and they do not have a cover photo. Statuses are associated around management updates and company events. There is a serious problem though, customers are not satisfied and it is obvious. There are multiple posts on the RealPlayer not working, downloads not working, and subscriber trickery. One example reads as follows: "Your deceptive practice of tricking people into subscribing to your idiotic reality TV fan service in order to use your video converter and then not even offering it is criminal. I'm cancelling my "free trial" as soon as I possibly can and I'm letting all my friends that you are a criminal enterprise."
Overall, RealNetworks needs to do a better job of managing their social media sites, and they need to make sure all their interactive material is working properly. They have followers, but doing a better job of making there sites more "real" and visually appealing will please the public. The comments will prove this point as well.
