As a fan of the NFL, I “Liked” NFL’s Facebook Page. The page shows that it currently has 5.1 million “Likes”. It is
a more personalized version of the actual NFL website. Not only do they share the
latest NFL news, but they also promote different products. Many of the fans
have commented on different articles to share their opinions. An interesting
topic on the page: “If you could CREATE or CHANGE one NFL rule… what would it
be?”

The page also has drawings that
fans can enter in. For example you can click on a link enter for a chance to
win a trip to NYC and announce a pick at the 2012 NFL Draft. Additionally, they
include many opinion polls on the page. These polls ask different things to
find out what the general public opinion is about a topic. Of course, there are
many videos posted relating to news and events around the league.
Tying this page into interactive
marketing, I clicked on a picture which showed many different caps. As I
clicked on a cap, it showed an enlarged picture of the caps and displayed a
link on the right where it could be purchased. I clicked on the link and I was
redirected here - to the NFL Shop’s website. There I could easily choose a size, and
purchase the cap. Marketing truly lives all around us!
