Starbucks - Wholefood in coffee world

Starbucks is one of the most popular coffee shop brand around the world.The brand name Starbucks is ranked #72 of the most valuable brands in the world in 2011.

Starbucks brand image is cool, trendy and urban. In cities located on the west coast, especially in Seattle, you will likely run into a Starbuck at each corner of the city block. It allows people to enjoy quality coffee anywhere in the city. It mostly located around office building, targeted the white collars.


Starbucks also changed people's life. Drink coffee is a tradition in western countries. Starbucks turned coffee shop to a fun place to hangout, cool place to date, even for job interviews. The environment is fun, while the paste is fast. Tally's is more of a family style. The paste there is very slow and relaxing. Comparing to Tally's, as students, we should appreciate Starbucks.


Starbucks is also engaged in social media. Whenever they have an event or a new flavor, Starbucks will post on social media. thousands of people is participating and the words are spreading in the world. Starbucks also use foursquare as customer review program, which allow them to monitor their services and try to provide better service.

Although Starbucks target on the white collar people, the coffee at Starbucks is not cheap. That is because Starbuck use fair trade coffee beans only. Even their customers have to pay more, but customers know that they are doing the right things. Therefore, Starbucks social responsible image is perceived by the customers.
