Good Online Branding

A good online branding means that even when the website of a certain company has been built yet, the brand has to be established first online; so then when customers Google the product of this brand, there are articles popping out, and even the key words are displayed in the engine’s search bar. This is important because customers want to know what the brand is, and what qualities do they have. However, rather than using advertisings through flyers, posters, etc., it is more effective to use article promotion, or expertise related campaign. These gives the customer a sense of trust for the brand, and believe that the brand does offer the quality they are looking for. Rather than spending money on advertising and marketing, once you receive the customer’s trust, you can delete the whole decision processing process that always happens when customers compare brand in which product they are trying to purchase.

Take Apple for instance, Apple does not have that much spam advertising, and it is very rare to see them put in display of their campaigns in the billboard. However, their products have been very successful and Apple’s sales have always been increasing over the years. So why is that? Apple’s brand is very focus and straight forward. Although they offer a lot of products, but if there’s one thing they promote is quality, design, and technology. Hence, when customers see the logo Apple, they know what the products are guaranteed to be capable of. Also, Apple has a lot of excellent reviews online, and these reviews are more important than advertising because it influences and persuades people’s perspective in looking at Apple based on others’ opinion. They believe that others who have experienced and used Apple products know better, and they easily trust these reviews more. So rather than spending so much money on advertising, it is better to focus the quality on your products to expand the amount of reviews in order to attract these customers.
