"Positioning Product and Service"


Marketing is all related about products and services as well needs and wants. Looking to article, effective product positioning deals are related to products and services that are differentiated in order to grab people attention. Furthermore, the concept of positioning deals starts from defining the marketing segmentation itself and continue with understanding who is the target market as well the values itself. Additionally, the product differentiation should be focused on by the positioning deals and strategies.

According to Alexander and Charles, there are six crucial steps that will definitely help and improve the organization to become much better. Here are the following steps:
1.    Determine the boundaries of the market
2.    Decide which variables to use in segmenting the market
3.    Collect and analyze data, which involves applying market research tools
4.    Develop a detailed profile of each market segment, which involves selecting those variables that are most closely related to consumers' actual buying behavior.
5.    Decide which segment or segments to serve.
6.    Product positioning which is to develop a product and marketing plan that will appeal to the selected market segment.

In conclusion, it is very crucial for the organizations and companies to have a good positioning in order to get the intended people. The organizations and companies should focus on which strategies they should focus on in order to be differentiate and distinctive among the competitors.
